1. What Is a Cookie?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device through your browser when you visit a website. They are used to make the site work correctly, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.

Cookies are either session cookies, which are kept for the duration of a session and deleted when the browser is closed, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a set period.

2. Types of cookies we use

Essential cookies: required for the site's core functions and security (for example Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects form submissions against bots and spam). Without them, those functions do not work properly.

Analytics cookies: we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used. These tools write cookies to your device and collect usage data such as visit counts, page views, clicks and scrolling behaviour.

3. Analytics (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity)

Tags are deployed through Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager itself writes no cookies; the cookies come from the tags it loads.

Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TWDTZDP4NJ) collects visit and page view statistics. Microsoft Clarity produces heatmaps and session recordings: mouse movement, clicks and scrolling are recorded. Clarity masks text entered in form fields by default.

These tools process data on Google's and Microsoft's infrastructure; the providers' privacy policies apply.

4. Managing your cookie preferences

You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or delete the site data stored for manta.com.tr. If you also block essential cookies, functions such as form submission may stop working.

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For Microsoft Clarity, Microsoft's privacy settings and your browser's tracking preferences apply.

5. Retention periods

Google Analytics 4: the _ga and _ga_* cookies last 2 years.

Microsoft Clarity: _clck 1 year, _clsk 1 day; cookies such as CLID and MUID on the clarity.ms and Microsoft domains are kept for the periods the provider sets.

Essential/security cookies (for example Cloudflare Turnstile) are used only for the relevant function and for the short period set by the provider.
